Are you up for the challenge of playing 145 holes on EIGHT different North Carolina disc golf courses in one day? If so, then join us for the 27th annual Great 8 Disc Golf Event. This event is not for the faint-hearted. We play Best Shot doubles. So find a brave partner, make sure your car has a full tank of gas, and come join the adventure.
Date/Time: 2 pools will start at Diavolo & UNC DGCs at sunrise (~5:30am) and the journey ends at Swinging DBs private course on Saturday, June 28th, 2025! Your starting course will be assigned to you before the event.
Fee: $80 per team (not per person)
Register: Because the event starts at sunrise, all participants MUST pre-register to participate. Each team must also sign a liability waiver.

It can be done! All 26 years of the event, most participants have completed all 8 courses. You play in pairs and encourage each other to finish. You play fast, you play smart, you drink lots of water, and you don’t stop. You eat in the car as you travel between courses.
